Tinhouse Brewing is looking for some awesome people to help get our beer to the masses in the Metro Vancouver and Sea-to-Sky regions. The right candidate(s) will have a fantastic focus on customer service, a solid understanding of what it means to be a wholesale customer, and attention to those little details that keep customers coming back. Tinhouse provides you with an established base of wholesale customers so you’re starting from a solid starting position. This is a position that would best suit a person looking for a less-than-full time gig for weekdays only. This position is NOT suitable for evenings and weekends. Lots of opportunities exist to grow the position into something bigger as Tinhouse continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging wholesale customers with a great attitude, product knowledge, and professionalism
- Communicating product availability to wholesale customers, including white label/custom brand SKUs
- Onboarding new wholesale customers
- Submitting orders and new customer information to our order desk
- Following up on requests, product inquiries, product quality concerns
Compensation:
- Percentage commission on each and every sale.
- Incentives for new accounts.
- Gas/mileage allowance.
- Discounts on Tinhouse products and merchandise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 19+ years of age, with a current Serving It Right certificate
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Excellent customer service experience in a food/liquor service or retail store environment
- Great knowledge of beer styles, including brewing process & ingredients used, to help describe beers to licensees
- Able to move (using handcart) and change a 50L keg
Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with draft systems, including knowledge of carbonation systems
- Certified Beer Server (Cicerone)
